Through film, fashion, and artificial intelligence, Leilanni Todd builds surreal worlds that use technology as both medium and creative collaborator.
Leilanni Todd is an award-winning creative director and digital artist whose work lives at the intersection of surrealism, fashion, and artificial intelligence. In 2022 she created Floam World — a surreal AI universe where film, fashion, humor, and absurdist world-building collide. She serves as AI Creative Director at Primordial Soup, the creative technology company founded by Darren Aronofsky.
Her short film Everyone is Chair screened at Tribeca Festival 2024. In 2025 she received The One Show Gold Pencil as the inaugural AI Pioneer (Individual). She teaches Generative AI for Virtual Production at NYU Tisch's Martin Scorsese Virtual Production Center and has spoken at the Museum of Moving Image New York, Motion Plus Design in New York and Paris, and was a featured artist and speaker at the NYWIFT Summit.
Her commercial work spans campaigns for Apple, Nike, Airbnb, Google, and The New York Times, with agencies including Droga5, Mother NY, R/GA, Squarespace and TBWA\Media Arts Lab.
She takes on select campaigns, brand collaborations, and speaking engagements.

Teaching & Speaking
Todd is an adjunct professor at NYU Tisch, where she teaches Generative AI for Virtual Production in the Master of Professional Studies program at the Martin Scorsese Virtual Production Center, a new facility dedicated to the future of filmmaking and storytelling.
She is also a frequent Panelist and Keynote speaker on AI in advertising, film, and creative practices, exploring how new tools are reshaping the art of storytelling.
