Leilanni Todd is an award-winning Creative Director specializing in conceptual brand campaigns, fashion, and new media. She’s spent her career split between fashion and advertising, working with brands and agencies in Toronto, New York and LA.
She’s worked with icons like Winona Ryder, Victoria Beckham, Lil’ Yachty, and the infamous Oscar the Grouch. Her work has been featured in publications within the art, advertising, and fashion industries, including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, The New York Times, Wired, Fast Company, and It’s Nice That. Her contributions have also earned her accolades at award shows like Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, The Clios, The Effies, The Webbys, Ad Age, and Adweek.
Leilanni pursued her studies at OCAD, majoring in Art Direction before furthering her studies with a thesis art practice in Florence, Italy. In addition to her artistic pursuits, she completed George Brown College’s Fashion & Technology program.
Most recently, she has begun to explore new possibilities to further her practice with the use of generative AI. Leveraging almost two decades of fashion and advertising experience, Leilanni’s work is a mix of art, technology, and culture. Her current endeavors are centered on the exploration of conceptual storytelling, using generative imagery, video, and 3D animation.
