The Long Fight

Shining a spotlight on The New York Times’ long-standing coverage of gender equality in sports.

In a new chapter for the “Truth Has a Voice” campaign, The New York Times spotlights their wide-reaching coverage of the gender gap.

The film aired during the US Open semi-final, and demonstrated – through years of old headlines – how The Times’ has been committed to covering gender equality in sports and the figures on the forefront since the 1960’s.

All of the titles in the film were created from archived New York Times’ articles over the last century.
