Mailchimp Presents

A “business entertainment platform”. Original content centered on themes of entrepreneurship and aimed at owners of small businesses.

In 2019, Mailchimp launched an original content platform, Mailchimp Presents. A collection of unbranded content including live-action scripted series, original podcasts, animated series, documentaries, and more.

My partner and I were responsible for shaping and curating the content – similar to a studio network. At one point, the entire D5 creative department was pitching shows. We developed the ideas and curated a “line-up” which we then pitched to Mailchimp.

Our creative involvement varied for each project. Unfortunately, Mailchimp parted ways with the agency just before the launch of the platform.
